Weekend Trip to Camp Faith

Our stay in the mountaintop cabin exceeded all expectations and was a trip we will remember fondly for years to come. Very secluded and peaceful, clean and well stocked cabin with all the amenities you could need. Excellent communication and hospitality. The driveway was no joke, but my minivan handled it well. My husband and 2 dogs had plenty to do over a long weekend with the lake right there and mountains nearby. As well as relaxing by the fire pit overlooking the river.

Weekend Trip to The Falls at Sewanee Creek

We loved our stay in the treehouse! It was so cozy and charming. The grounds are beautiful and Grant is a wonderful host. He truly loves what he does. I slept like a rock on the futon in the patio listening to the waterfall. Will definitely be back!

I can't even begin to tell you how photos do not do this place justice. There is so much to explore and do on property and all around the area. Grant and Becky have created a blissful escape where you are free to let your spirit run wide open. Trails and waterfalls, fairies and folklore. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back. 3 nights at Shoestring Creek Campground

This place made our time in the Smokies so magical! My boyfriend and I stayed in the Bambie cabin and it was so peaceful and serene. You really do feel like you have the whole woods to yourself. Rhonda and Roberta were wonderful and so helpful and kind. Rhonda even gave us a ride up to our cabin one rainy night when we were nervous that our low-clearance sedan might have trouble. Things to bring: extra linens because it can get pretty cold at night! We had two extra comforters in our car and ended up using both. Also, bring ample light options! We used all the lanterns and flashlights/headlamps we had. It gets really dark inside, as another reviewer mentioned. You can tell that a lot of love and care has been poured into this campground and that they really want you to have a positive experience. Overall a really beautiful time that amplified the quality of our trip. 💜

We had a wonderful time staying in the Grande tent! Feeding the horses and the kitty were a fun little bonus. The shower was perfect temperature and the bathrooms were nice a cool. Definitely recommend this place!

we loved our stay in the cabin! super clean, super comfy and cozy. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. Bath houses were great addition! We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough for activities!

I had a great time staying in this A-Frame. It stormed pretty bad while I was there and it proved to be strong and sturdy. Loved listening to the rain fall on the roof. The bed was comfortable and cozy. It was a beautiful property with the friendliest of dogs! I will definitely be coming back someday!

Weekend Trip to GlampKnox Canvas Campground

It was beautiful and peaceful. The tent kept us dry all through the storms we had, the fans definitely helped keep cool, and the cat stayed with us and kept us company most of the time we were there. Everyone seems to have the same complaint, and it's the only one I can think of, the path to the restroom can be a little slippery while dewy in the morning and after rain, since it is a bit steep. The bed was comfortable and the check in was quick and easy. I would recommend to anyone.

Grant and Becky were the best hosts we could have met. We spent our honeymoon/bachelor/bachelorette trip at the treetop tent, and fell in love with the whimsy, wonder, and wiles of Sewannee Creek. Endearingly kind and wonderfully accommodating, our new friends at The Falls have immediately become our number one vacation destination. Thank you, endlessly! We will be back!

The tree tent site was really cool. Would have been a lot of fun with a group of people for sure. The ride over was bumpy and rocky by my dodge challenger made it so most cars should be able to get there. Grant was very nice and hospitable. The waterfall was really cool, didn’t expect it to be so big when it wasn’t that far away. I’d suggest bringing as many blankets and pillows as you can to make the tent as comfortable as possible.

Weekend Trip to Waterloo Falls

Great for a quick getaway when you don’t want to have to prep and pack a ton. Swimming the in the river and hiking to see the waterfalls was a blast. All very easy and nice and relaxing.

Weekend Trip to The Ole Place

Great spot! This private campground was relaxing and had good amenities. Free firewood was 10/10. The cabin was stocked with very helpful items and clean. There is a lot of good hikes and waterfalls close by.

My girlfriend and I loved the Bambi cabin at Shoestring Creek. Rhonda and Roberta are amazing and very accommodating. Very quiet, tucked away, and peaceful. Do yourself a favor and go spend some time at Shoestring Creek Will be back!

The cabin and campground were lovely. Very peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient to have our own bathroom.

Enjoy glamping in our optional 2017 19' retro style camper with a bathroom and kitchen or go primitive and set up your tent or hammock by the waterfalls and rough it. 2 sites have electricity. No bathrooms or showers if you're Just 35 minutes west of Loveless Cafe' in Nashville and 20 minutes south of the Dickson exit at I40. The 48 acre campground has just 3 big tent sites for more seclusion and is almost all old forest with wide trails and huge old growth trees. There is about a 1/2 acre of field to park in between the road and the creek if you don't have an off road vehicle. The rest is woods. Mother Nature has a lot to offer when you cross the creek into the first two campsites that are on the 30' creek. One big spring runs through the middle of the 2 sites with small cascading waterfalls. Both sites have string lights and 120V extension cords. These two sites are separated by the driveway and about 150' apart but a bridge connects the two if you have another couple that wants to join you these two spots are perfect for privacy and companionship. Expand the pictures to a full screen as you scroll so the description will show up at the bottom of the picture. Not all pictures are on the property but describe close places to visit as well. FIREWOOD: Split wood is available upon request and sold in the area (if it's available at the time) or any fallen dead wood from the forest is free. $7.00 for a 20" bundle. Please let us know ahead of time or order it on the site. SITE 1: The nicer of the two sites along the creek, has granite counters, a round fire pit with a fold down heavy cooking grate, charcoal grill and a large wrought iron table and chairs. RENT A CAMPER WITH SITE 1 or BRING YOUR PERSONAL CAMPER: Our retro style 2017 option on the other side of the creek with stairs and stones to cross the creek. Sometimes the walking stones get washed out. 30 amp. 240 and 120 volt plugs. Click on additional fees for camper electrical hook up. SITE 2: Also along side the 30' creek. There is a round steel fire pit surrounded with wrought iron chairs, a separate picnic table, granite countertop work space and a small grill. 2 fairly flat areas for tents. Set your chairs in the creek in front of your site. The clear cold water is a great place to relax and cool off or watch crawfish, minnows and salamanders and the occasional blue herron. 120V and string lights. Parking is a little tight unless you're in a Jeep of more off road vehicle that can park up the hill a bit. SITE 3: "Still Hollow" is more private and located right in the middle valley of the property where a different spring fed creek runs down the wooded valley. There is no electricity but you can still enjoy the sound of small cascading waterfalls and a creek that runs along the side of the site for a relaxing sleep. There is a granite countertop, charcoal grill and a fire ring. A small round wrought iron table and 4 chairs are there for a place to eat lunch. The old moonshine barrels are still barely standing by the spring. This site is also accessed from the opposite side of the campground on Ben Fly Rd or Greer Rd for the serious off roaders. 4 wheel drive may be necessary but a Hyundai car entered through the creek in 2 wheel drive. It was dry though. STAR GAZING for all 3 sites: There is a cleared area on top of a hill side for stargazing far from the city lights. CHECK IN: Check in can be as early as like if the present campers have checked out. You can always hang out elsewhere on the property and start your day to explore and hike till they leave. Just let us know in advance. And you can stay all day the day of check out but you may have to pack up and park elsewhere if other campers need the spot. If not. Stay till dark. PHOTOS: EXPAND THE PHOTOS TO A SINGLE VIEW! Some photos are of nearby attractions. You can see the description of each photo and which site is in the picture when you expand them. VEHICLE TYPE AND PARKING: In order to drive up into the campsite, you may need a 4x4 vehicle but definitely need ground clearance.
